1. By Public Transport (Grab, Taxi)

  • Cost: Fares depend on the distance and other factors.
​To take a taxi from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) to Thammasat Rangsit, follow these steps:

 

  • You will find the Bangkok Airport taxi rank just outside of the Arrivals Hall on Level 1. Before taking a local taxi.
  • You will need to get a printed taxi number from the kiosks located between exits 3 and 6. There are usually three lanes of taxis waiting outside, one for regular sedans (up to 4 passengers), one for larger cars (minivans), and one for taxis driving to destinations within the local area.
  • To avoid the long queues at the kiosks, you can also pre-book your BKK Airport taxi with Welcome Pickups and enjoy a seamless door-to-door journey directly to your hotel in Bangkok. 
  • Clearly tell the taxi driver your destination: "Thammasat Rangsit University." You can show them the address if needed: 99 Phahon Yothin Rd, Tambon Khlong Nung, Amphoe Khlong Luang, Chang Wat Pathum Thani 12120, Thailand.
  • The drive from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Thammasat Rangsit is approximately 38.1 miles (55 minutes) under normal traffic conditions.

 

2. By Private Car

    • Minivan: Minivans numbered 559 depart from the Suvarnabhumi Airport minivan station and go to Future Park Rangsit. From there, you can take a bus or taxi to the university.
    • Bus: Several bus lines, such as 554, 555, and 559, serve Suvarnabhumi Airport and Rangsit. You can check routes and schedules on the Moovit or Google Maps app.
  • Cost: Minivans and buses are relatively inexpensive.


4. By Train

  • Pros: Convenient and avoids traffic congestion.
  • Cons: Requires multiple transfers and takes longer than traveling by private car.
  • How to:
    • Airport Rail Link: Take the Airport Rail Link from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Phaya Thai Station.
    • BTS: Transfer to the BTS from Phaya Thai Station to Mo Chit Station.
    • Red Line: Transfer to the Red Line from Mo Chit Station to Rangsit or Lak Si Station, then take a bus or taxi to the university.
