11/11/2009By now, you should have all received the email Kay Clinard sent out, about how I have left PacifiCorp and can no longer hold the Utility Co-Chair post.
I wanted to remind you about the qualifications:
-
Must be able to commit up to 20% of time to user group activities (including the fall and spring meetings).
-
Must be able to travel internationally for the non-U.S. meetings.
-
Must be generally familiar with CIM and working group activities.
-
Must be employed at a utility or ISO (not a vendor, system integrator, or consulting organization)Must hold the post for a two-year duration (minimum - longer support is welcome)
But hey, walking on water is not required.
The Utility Co-Chair Election page is where you can post your nominations.
I am also attempting to hand off my web support role within CIMug. UCA has hired some additional contracting help, but we need more hands on board!
Please hunt me down here at the conference if you care about the future of the collaboration environment that your membership dollars have funded. We have set up a GotoMeeting if you would like to monitor presentations and listen in to the conference. Here is the invitation.
1. Please join my meeting. https://www.gotomeeting.com/join/226365067

Thanks to Arthur Griesser for pointing out that the link to the EPRI Office Brochure didn't work. That has been corrected, and if you are looking for a list of area restaurants, it's a good place to start. Click here. 11/9/2009
As you arrive and turn into the EPRI building area, you will have to drive by the first set of buildings (#1) and continue straight on (there is a sign posted there).
If you continue up the hill there is a second building (#2). That is where the UCA and CIM meetings are being held.
Our tour is cancelled tomorrow, due to circumstances beyond our control...
Thanks,
Kay
